A message from London Scottish Schools Golfing Society.

A great day out with the emphasis on the social side of golf. The London Scottish Schools Golfing Society (LSSGS) are pleased to invite you to their annual outing at Denham Golf Club on Tuesday 20th June 2006.

The event is currently in its 25th year with teams of 4 representing their Scottish school, plus Wanderers' teams for individuals (all welcome), to compete for the Anniesland Trophy.

There are typically 80 or so Scots in attendance with handicaps from scratch up to 24. We are looking for more Scottish golfers, preferably, but not essentially, associated with a Scottish school club, who are now based in the greater London area.

In particular, we would like to find players from the following school list as they have not been represented in recent years: Aberdeen Grammar School, Dollar Academy, Heriots, Hutcheson's Grammar, Mar College, Merchiston, The Royal High School.

It's a full stableford competition starting at 0815 hours from 2 tees, followed by a wonderful long lunch in the superb Denham dining room, and then a relaxed foresome competition over 9 holes in the afternoon, all finishing around 1830 hours.
