GLASGOW: State Street Caledonian Challenge, West Highland Way, Scotland
Saturday, 17 June 2006 by

As around 70% of walkers are from London, you may already have heard of, or even taken part in, The State Street Caledonian Challenge, Scotland's top endurance fundraising event.

If not, then, thanks to the support from Eddie and Scots in London, now is your chance to challenge yourself and your colleagues and friends.

54 miles, 24hrs, the walk of your life:

Over 1,500 people, in teams of between three and six, many representing their companies, walk through some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery across the West Highland Way, starting at Fort William and finishing at Ardlui by the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

Giving back to Scotland:

There is an entry fee of GBP100 and each walker commits to raise GBP500 in sponsorship for the Scottish Community Foundation, a unique organisation that funds community groups and small charities all over Scotland, from supporting a disabled creche in Skye to the homeless in Glasgow. So each step really does count!

Taking the first step:

The State Street Caledonian Challenge 2006 takes place on 17th & 18th June and it promises to be even bigger and better, with more individuals taking part than ever before especially as 2006 is our 10th Anniversary. We'd be delighted to hear from you or anyone interested in taking up the challenge. Website/Contact: www.caledonianchallenge.com .
