Glasgow Green will play host to the finish line ofthe prestigious Tour of Britain race on 15 September - a world classsporting event with 96 of the world's best cyclists racing through thecountry.  The Tour of Britain has placed itself on a global platformalongside major races such as the Tour de France and Giro D'Italia byattracting a combination of national and international teams. 

Thegruelling 7-stage race starts in Reading on 9 September, working itsway from South to North for the first time in 2007.  In the finalstage, the riders will set off from Dumfries and head through thesouthern uplands before dropping down into East Kilbride and onto thefinish line in Glasgow.  Get your bike this summer and watch the creamof international cycling fight for the prized yellow jersey and enjoythe host of entertainment at Glasgow Green.
