Last year's inaugral walk saw over 200 people set off from Kelvingrove
Park to walk a scenic 10 miles around to city taking in some of its
best known and well loved sights, including the Peoples Palace, Glasgow
Green, the SECC and the new squinty bridge.
Kirsty Wark led hundreds
of walkers on the day, with their efforts raising over £20,000 to help
Maggie's Centres help those affected by cancer. Maggie's is now
inviting walkers of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes - schools,
companiesm community groups, grandparents and babies in buggies to take
part in the second Life Walk.
The Walk is about celebrating life,
getting fit, being together with old friends as well as making new
ones. It is about celebrating the best sights and sounds of your city!
