The Edinburgh Tattoo is the most spectacular show in the world, enjoyed by an international television audience of 100 million. But there's no substitute for being there, as part of the 217,000-strong audience overits three-week season on the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle who don't simply watch the show but become a part of it. 

Against the majestic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the world-renowned  Massed Pipes and Drums together with the impressive Massed Military Band featuring the household Cavalry's Mounted Band of The Blues and Royals and the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland of Scotland are amongst those who will gather for Scotland's sensational 58th Edinburgh Tattoo. 

Along with performers from the Far East, Canada, New Zealand, Australia andSouth Africa will be the Middlesex County Volunteers, Fifes and Drumsfrom Massachusetts, an international Massed Highland Dance Troup and the haunting lament of the lone piper.
