The Edinburgh Tattoo is the most spectacular show in the world, enjoyedby an international television audience of 100 million. But there's nosubstitute for being there, as part of the 217,000-strong audience overits three-week season on the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle who don'tsimply watch the show but become a part of it. 

Against the majesticbackdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the world-renowned  Massed Pipes andDrums together with the imrepssive Massed Military Band featuring thehousehold Cavalry's Mounted Band of The Blues and Royals and the Bandof the Royal Regiment of Scotland of Scotland are amongst those whowill gather for Scotland's sensational 58th Edinburgh Tattoo. 

Alongwith performers from the Far East, Canada, New Zealand, Australia andSouth Africa will be the Middlesex County Volunteers, Fifes and Drumsfrom Massachusetts, an international Massed Highland Dance Troup andthe haunting lament of the lone piper.
