Now in its fourth year, Piping Live! is one of the most innovative andexciting celebrations of Scottish culture, putting a thrilling spin ontraditional piping music.  From well-kept piobaireachd to expirementalfusion sounds Piping Live! boasts an outstanding line up ofinternational artists and the creme de la creme of Scottish talent. 

The National Piping Centre will be the hub of the festival, hostingdaily live events such as 'Pipe Idol' - the search for the world's bestyoung piper.  Venues across the city will host inspiring musicalevents, while George Square will stage free highlights throughout theweek - including a free performance from the cast of the sell-out 2007Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
