Now in its fifth year, BBC Proms in The Park returns to Glasgow Green for an evening of the finest classical music and Saltire flag waving, all in a great party atmosphere.  Presented by broadcaster Sally Magnusson and Jamie MacDougall, this year's concert promises to delight and entertain, with the award winning BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Robert Ziegler and joined on stage by some outstanding musicians including cellist, Julian Lloyd Webber, baritone, Jonathan Lemalu and featuring our very own National Youth Choir of Scotland. 

This year the even goes one stage bigger, with audiences joining us live from Cawdor Castle in Inverness-shire as Scotland celebrates Highland Culture 2007.  Glasgow will once again join the other Proms In The Park events around Britain in a live big-screen link up with Royal Albert Hall as the Last Night of the Proms reaches its colourful finale.
