Take a peek behind some familiar facades as Glasgow's Doors Open Dayopens up over 100 buildings which are often closed to the public.

Thisyear's themes are: Glasgow's rivers and bridges; the splendid GeorgianCastlemilk Stables - restored after years of dereliction; the 200thanniversary of Abolition of Slavery and the connections betweenGlasgow's tobacco merchants, the slave trade and the city's historicbuildings.

Other highlights include the newly restored HunterianMuseum and Mackintosh's Queens Cross Church.  As always there will bebuses, walks, talks and dramas along the way.
