Now is the time for all good Scots to come to the aid of Scottish Rugby!

Booking time for the Friends of Scottish Rugby Gala Dinner has come round again and I'm writing to ask if you will be able to come to the dinner, take or sponsor a table, or be coming on your own with individual guests.

Cost - £1,300 for a table of 10, we can manage 12 per table but with additional costs.

Individual tickets - £140 per person.

Four course meal with wine, haggis presentation and pipers by the Highland Pipers. The usual high grade raffle and auction prizes with the incomparable Ian Robertson.

Guest speaker this year will be Len Murray, one of Scotland's outstanding after dinner speakers. A Glasgow trained solicitor, once described by a judge as "the most respected  pleader of his generation." Associated with headline cases for such figures as Billy Connolly, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, David Sole and Tommy Docherty.

As always we have some quite outstanding raffle and auction prizes, and with Ian Robertson officiating you soon will be helping Scottish rugby, the Wooden Spoon and Friends of Scottish Rugby to exceed last year's record take.
