Calling Former Pupils and Staff of The Royal High School in Edinburgh

Once again we are returning to the prestigious Fleming Collectionat 13, Berkeley Street, London W1. This autumn's highlight at thegallery is a major exhibition of the work of the celebrated nineteenthcentury artist William McTaggart, who is often dubbed The ScottishImpressionist and is recognised as a forerunner of the FrenchImpressionist School. Among the paintings, watercolours and drawingsassembled for the Fleming Collection, McTaggart's mastery of thelandscape and the seascape will be particularly evident. This is aninvaluable opportunity to see the first comprehensive gathering ofMcTaggart's work since a major exhibition in Edinburgh in 1989.

As ever there will be a brief but highly entertaining and informativetalk on McTaggart given by Selina Skipworth, the Keeper of The FlemingCollection.
