Now in its sixth year- and still growing- the Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival is the largest event of its kind in the UK. Taking to the stage for 18 days in March, the festival programme is side-splittingly stuffed with top national and international stand-ups, plus brand new comedy dramas, classic films, workshops and shows for the whole family. Already lined up for 2008 are festival favourites Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle and comedy legends French and Saunders.
