The Fleming Collection warmly invites you to attend an
early Burn's Night celebration in the beautiful surroundings of The
Fleming Collection gallery in Mayfair. The Fleming Collection is the
finest collection of Scottish Art in private hands today. Comprised of
approximately 800 Scottish paintings ranging from 1770 to the present
day, The Fleming Collection prides itself on being an embassy for
Scottish Art in London.
Spend an evening in the company of Scottish musicians and beautiful
Scottish paintings, with a traditional address to the haggis and a
whisky tasting by The Scottish Malt Whisky Society. Celebrate the life
and works of Robert Burns whilst also taking a last look at our current
exhibition: William McTaggart: 1835-1910, which is due to close on the
19th January. McTaggart is regarded as one of Scotland's most important
historical painters; he is not only credited with inventing his own
style of impressionism but also regarded as 'the grandfather of modern
Scottish painting'.
