Fèis is the Gaelic word for a festival or feast. However over the past few years the word has become synonymous with the Fèis movement; a group of Gaelic arts tuition festivals which now take place throughout Scotland.

The idea of Fèis London is to bring the spirit of the Fèisean to Scotland’s third largest city! And to create an opportunity for a people who have never experienced the beauty, vitality, excitement and relevance of one of the United Kingdom’s most thriving artistic traditions.

The second London Fèis will be taking place over the weekend of 5th to 7th September 2008 at Froebel College in Roehampton, South West London. You will find more details about what is actually going on by looking at www.feislondon.org.
