The Highlands and Islands Society of London St. Andrew's Night Ceilidh Dance takes place on  Saturday 29th November 2008 at Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regent's Park Road, London NW1 7AY (nearest tube Camden Town on the Northern Line).

 

Music for dancing comes from from Frank Reid and his Scottish Dance Band. Frank's band played for the ceilidh scene in 'FourWeddings and a Funeral' so if you've seen the film you've heard his music!

 

Kathleen Graham is coming down from Skye to be our Gaelic singer. She recently gave an excellent performance at the London Feis.

 

Our own Jim Mackay and Donald McRury will also give us a rousing selection on the pipes.

 

Tickets cost £20 for non-members and £15 for HISL members and concessions can be purchased in advance or at the door on the night.
