To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Scottish Bard’s birth, this will be a Burns night like no other.The atmospheric folk music of the Scottish Highlands and Islands with harp and fiddle mixed with the vibrant Salsa band, Salsa Celtica, will create a unique fusion of Latin and Celtic sounds. It’s curated by one of the UK’s leading composers and subject of nextseason’s LSO Artist Focus, James MacMillan, who celebrates his own 50th birthday this year.
