In the spirit of connecting Scots, Scottish businesses and organisations and those interested in Scotland, Scotsin organises events which are open to members and also promotes third party events run by our supporters and contributors to the Scotsin network. We plan to significantly upgrade the look and feel of this area of the site to make it more visually attractive and user friendly so please bear with us during this transition phase. SCOTS IN SCOTLAND - Drive it home 2009 - Scotlands biggest ever promotion for visiting golfers

Scotland is the undisputed birthplace of Golf and every year thousands of overseas golfers come to play our amazing variety of 550 courses. Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrates Scotland as the Home of Golf and sees the launch of 'Drive It Home', Scotland's biggest ever golf promotion in our leading overseas golf markets.

'Drive It Home' offers a free four-ball at selected courses across Scotland for overseas golfers and their golf buddies. Terms and conditions apply. 'Drive It Home' was developed collaboratively by VisitScotland and the Scottish Golf Union (SGU) and in consultation with SGU member clubs and consortia.

The promotion is free and open to participants over 18 years of age, who are a legal resident in one of the participating countries. The participating countries are: United States of America, Canada, Sweden, France, Middle East, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Argentina, Brazil, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Finland and The Netherlands. Other countries may become involved at a later date.
