Dumfries Museum hosts a special series of exhibitions, conferences and lectures this Homecoming Year. Don't miss the book launch and signing of Colin Hunter McQueen's new Robert Burns text. Visit the unique Robert Burns exhibition which explores the fate of the famous Blair pistols gifted to Burns' doctor, William Maxwell and find out even more at the accompanying lecture. Marvel at Colin Hunter McQueen's meticulous scale 1":1' scale modle of Burns Mausoleum in Burns Mausoleum 1:1. Explore 200 years of gardening in Dumfriesshire at Dumfries Gardens, Great and Small and enjoy a lecture by historian Frances Wilkins in April 24th 2009. And finally, witness Burns' story come to life at the Robert Burns House venue where you can meet Jean Armour Burns and hear her exciting life story.
