Join in a celebration of North Carrick's connections with Robert Burns, his parents and friends. Robert Burns' parents met and married in Maybole, ancient capital of Carrick. The Bard attended school in Kirkoswald and the main character in Tam O'Shanter was based on the owner of a farm at Maidens.
