This exhibition will explore both Burns own creative output and his legacy to the present day. Visitors will be able to discover the creative role of Burns as a writer, poet and performer and his legacy of contemporary artists, composers and designers. A series of new major commissions by leading Scottish artists, Scottish designers, Scottish poets, and Scottish writers will be on display including work from Timorous Beasties, Adam Proctor and Michael Vissochi, Rab Wilson and Gavin Reid.
