The internationally recognised British Golf Museum has a new exhibition, situated in the home of golf itself, focussing on the men's game since 1946 and bringing the historical displays bang up to date. One of the bes, and least well known, collections of Robert Burns memorabilia and books will be brought out into the light and displayed at Kirkcaldy Museum and Gallery before being returned to its usual home at Dunfermline Carnegie Library.

Come Home to Museums in Fife and find out about your ancestors. St Andrews Museum is delving into what your forefathers' lives were like 150 years ago. A long lost Victorian painting "A Scottish Fair", discovered for sale in America, returns on loan to Kirkcaldy Museum and Art Gallery. The artis, Andrew Young, took many family portraits too and we'll show you how to interpret your family photographs. Gravestones and family history are featured at the Museum too. And ifyour ancestors were fisherman the Scottish Fisheries Museum will let you drop in and user their Research Library and Photographic Archive on special Mondays throughout the year.

Scotland is famous too for its innovation and invention. Visit the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum - a weaver's cottage in Dunfermline and find out how canny Andrew used technology to make his moeny in the steel business in Pittsburgh. Follow the Innovation Trail at the Scottish Fisheries Museum and look out for arts and crafts innovation in venues all across Fife.
