He isequally at home whether singing heart felt originals to a concertaudience, belting out Scottish favourites to the Tartan Army or playingsome of his huge pop/rock repertoire to a packed dance floor. Tedhas been involved in the Scottish live music scene since he wasfifteen. He is proud to be a native of The Royal and Ancient Burgh ofStirling (Stirling is now a city but he much prefers the previousdescription of his hometown) and was born and raised a mere claymoreslength from Stirling Castle and The National Wallace Monument. Hehad a British number 1 single in 1996 with a version of Bob Dylan's“Knocking on Heaven's Door” which he had adapted as an anti-gun protestsong after the horrific slaughter of sixteen primary school children inDunblane.
