Borderline is small charity achieving big results
We aim to assist vulnerable Scots in London to establish a securetenancy and lead a healthy, independent life. At Borderline, backed by the Ministers and congregations of St Columba’s and Crown Court Kirks,we believe that everyone has the right to a decent home at a price they can afford.
 
Borderline offers a unique service in London, with an understanding of our clients’ particular problems and needs, and strong partnershipsand links with many different organisations in both London and Scotland who can help us find the best solution for each individual client.
 
How Borderline helps
Our advice team helps our clients with:
  • > Professional housing and benefits advice> Assessment and referrals to specialist drug and alcohol agencies> Referrals to resettlement options such as hostels> Supportive resettlement in Scotland> Priority access to bed spaces with partner hostels in London> Planned resettlement into longer-term accommodation> Subsidised travel to help with resettlement and essential visits> Subsidised Birth Certificates for proof of identity> Assistance to approach grant givers for essential items> Free toiletries and clothing> Free telephone advice line
