Ian Macaulay Photography

Ian Macaulay is a Scottish Photographer based in London, official photographer to Scots In London.

Born and raised in Scotland, Ian Macaulay completed a B.Sc in PureMathematics before relocating to London to study photojournalism andlaunch his photographic career in 1985.

Originally working for fashion trade magazines and public relationscompanies, he now photographs extensively for the retail, financial,legal and technology sectors and his striking images have appeared inthe Independent, The Guardian and The Sunday Telegraph, as wells asmany annual reports and corporate communications publications.

Creative corporate portraiture has become his speciality, and he excelsat producing imaginative, high quality images very quickly, engagingwith his subjects to work in collaboration with them.

Ian is a visiting tutor at the University for the Arts for Londonwhere he teaches professional photographic practice. He lives in SouthEast London.
