As part of the campaign to attract people of Scots descent to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, the Scottish Football Tournament is to be rebranded as "The Homecoming Scottish Cup." To this aim, the Scottish Government and former Celtic director Willie Haughey have announced a £2 million sponsorship deal with the SFA (Scottish Football Association).

London Scottish Rugby Club maintained their 100% record by winning the10th league match in a row away to Lydney on Saturday. In a wet andwindy encounter Scottish powered to a 7 try victory with Gareth Swales(2), Iain Fullarton (2) Rayne Bruce, Owain Walbyoff and Duncan Haywardon his return to 1st XV duty touching down.
