World celebrity boxing - Tommy Sheridan v George Bowie at Hilton Glasgow 21st June.

A series of boxing matches culminating in the title fight between Bowie and Sheridan with an auction in between. The event is to raise funds for ClIC, Nordoff Roberts and Kidney research. I had a ring side seat but unfortunately Bowie could not hit Sheridan enough to win even with my shouted support and qualified boxing advice. You can see the fight using the link above. Included in the auction was one of my paintings and sold for £3000. This is great news for the charities involved and will certainly help towards the work they do. I have followed the boxing theme with new work on the web site http://www.jpmclaughlin.net/page4.htm along side a view of Arran that makes the west coast of Scotland look quite different.
