Message from Walk for Wallace /Tartan Market.com / TVP Films. The Walk for Wallace DVD is ready to order now - a must for all those who took part in the London stage of the David Ross's Walk for Wallace on August 23rd!
William Wallace, the Guardian of Scotland, was murdered at the butcher yards of Smithfield in London, 700 years ago. This DVD is a tribute to William Wallace, on the 700th anniversary of his death. We follow David Ross, an author and the convener of the Wallace Society as he walks in the footsteps of William Wallace along the same lonely path to London city, where Scotland's hero was hung, drawn and quartered to the amusement of a mass English crowd. This story is not a historical record but a tribute to the spirit of Wallace by his supporters from around the world. It is inspired by David Ross and his followers, who carry Wallace's coffin home to Scotland where his spirit is finally laid to rest. Watch the moving ceremony as we hear tributes from politicians, musicians (Clann an Drumma, Ted Christopher, Bannockburn Band) and from the people themselves. This gathering of support for Sir William Wallace will never be seen again. Please order your copy and copies for Christmas presents now.
