The Daniel Stewart's and Melville College London Club has some sixty Members who pay a modest £10 Annual Subscription, an amount that has remained unchanged for many years, andenables former pupils living and working in London or the South East ofEngland to meet socially and to provide anyone moving south with a linkto Edinburgh.

Even those based elsewhere in the UK or overseas andintermittently visiting London will be made most welcome at any of thegatherings.

Informal Pub Nights are held on the first Wednesday of each month, usually at The Clachan,Kingly Street, lying between and parallel to Regent Street and CarnabyStreet from 6.30 pm. Occasionally, the evening is shared with other FPClubs in London.

stewarts-melville.gifThe Annual Dinner in March/April is usually at The Caledonian Club,Halkin Street, London SW1 at which the College Principal and thePresident of the Club are guests. Informal Dinners are also held at theCaledonian Club in July and November to coincide with the CommitteeMeeting and the Club AGM.

One or two golf teams are fielded that compete in the London Scottish Schools Competition at Denham Golf Club annually in July.
