On 15 December the London Philharmonic Orchestra is joined by ColinCurrie who will be playing the European première of Higdon’s PercussionConcerto. Currie was the first percussion finalist in the BBC YoungMusician of the Year Competition. He now performs all across the worldand is also the current Visiting Professor of Solo Percussion at theRoyal Academy of Music in London.
