In 2006, she was a Scotswoman of the Year finalist and narrow runner-up as Scotswoman of the Year.
At the 2008 Fringe Report Awards, she was named Best Performer on the
London theatre fringe and, in Edinburgh, she won the WAG of the Year
title as best after-dinner speaker.
Her autobiography "Handstands in the Dark" was a UK Top Ten bestseller
