Dear London Scottish member,

As we approach the AGM and Special General Meeting on Wednesday 4th June, it is important that members vote on the key issue either in person or by sending in a proxy.

We have a real and exciting opportunity to restore the club to the level at which the vast majority of members clearly want us to return.

We have now held three briefing meetings on the plans in general and a further meeting was convened by special request to go over the business plan and the financial details, which the committee has prepared with great care.

However I am aware that a number of you were unable to attend on any of the dates, and it is clear from one or two emails I have received that there are still a few misconceptions and misunderstandings; that while most members are aware of the key questions, not all have yet received accurate answers!

We have another opportunity for members to quiz the committee at 6pm prior to the AGM, but I am also writing now in the hope that, on the day, no one will vote without being absolutely clear about what they are voting for or against!

Below are some of the questions still being asked and the answers, which the Committee believes, are fair and accurate. The plans we are putting to you were formulated by the Committee, which largely comprises the team that directed the Club's recovery from the disasters of 1999 to the position of strength in which we now find ourselves.

Finally please remember that you will not be admitted to the meeting without production of a membership card for 2007-8 or 2008-9.
