have received a major boost, with the signing of two high quality
forwards with Premiership experience, Paul Volley and Iain Fullarton.
London Scottish's ambitious plans to return to the top flight have received a major boost, with the signing of two high quality forwards with Premiership experience, Paul Volley and Iain Fullarton. Volley, the former Wasps and Harlequins captain is one of the country's most highly respected back row forwards, and Fullarton who has been a regular in the Saracens squad for the past four years, won 8 caps for Scotland at lock
Fullarton, who won the last of his caps against Australia in 2004, said, "London Scottish has a special resonance not only with Scots around the world, but throughout the game, and I am delighted to be joining them at this exciting time".
Volley and Fullarton will team up with the Club's other recent recruits, Simon Amor, James Brown, Gary Trueman and Mark Soden in a new look side aiming for promotion to National League 2 next season. All hope to make their league debuts on September 6th when London Scottish play Chinnor at the Richmond Athletic Ground

London Scottish Sign Premiership Duo
London Scottish continued the ambitious plans to achieve promotion to national 2 yesterday by making a double swoop for established Premiership duo, Paul Volley and Ian Fullarton.

Both join the London Scottish revolution, stepping down from Premiership action and are excited by the prospect of helping the famous exiles club back to it’s former level.
Volley (pictured right), 36, a former London Wasps, Castres Olympique and Harlequins back rower, said, “I am excited by the challenge of getting Scottish back up the leagues, playing some good competitive rugby and having some fun along the way. It is a great set up and the calibre of player joining, shows the ambitions and exciting plans. It will be a fun season – I can’t wait”
Scottish International Fullarton (pictured left), 29 is a real coup for Scottish. The former Borders, Edinburgh, Sales Sharks and Saracens second row who made his Scotland debut against the All Blacks in 2000 and won 8 caps, is excited by the prospect of helping Scottish back to the big time, said, "London Scottish has a special resonance not only with Scots around the world, but throughout the game, and I am delighted to be joining them at this exciting time"
