Nick Evans beats Gordon Ramsay over the line in London Marathon

General Manager Nick Evans Completes the Marathon (and Beats Gordon Ramsay to the line) & 1st team player Chris McEwan also completes his 1st London Marathon too.
For anyone watching BBC on Sunday they would have seen General Manager Nick Evans beat Gordon Ramsay to the line up the mall to record a PB of 3hours 43 mins for the London Marathon. A clearly knackered Evans beat off the challenge of Celebrity Chef Ramsay in a rain soaked day – raising £1500 for Notting Hill Housing Trust. Speaking about the day Evans said, ‘It was a fantastic occasion – I passed Ramsay at Buckingham Palace and was generally surprised the loud cheers on the finish line were for him and not me. He may have 10 Michelin stars on me but I’ve got 2 minutes on him’.

1st XV player Chris McEwan completed his 1st London marathon in 4hours 45 mins and despite aching limbs was described to be “well chuffed”. He is still looking for sponsorship so if you fancy honouring his achievement you can sponsor him at www.justgiving.com/chrismcewan_marathon

Thanks to all London Scots who sponsored Nick and for the support on the course (Karen Hanning, Chris Webb and Joe Flaherty!)
