Make Connections

Here are a few tips to make the most out of our "Connections" feature on the new Scotsin.com website. First, login or register, then manage your connections (via Members/Name or Profile/Connections/Request Connection/Submit) by visiting "Members" (in the left menu). Here are a few tips to make the most out of our "Connections" feature:

1. Manage Your Connections (via Members/Name or Profile/Connections/Request Connection/Submit) by visiting "Members" (in the left menu);

1.1. Next click on the name or profile of the person you'd like to connect with;

1.2. In their profile, click on "Connections/Request connection" at top;

1.3. Then you can leave then a short message if you wish - then please click "Submit";

1.4. When they accept your connection request, their image / avatar will appear in the "Connections" tab on your Profile.

1.5. It's really easy, so get connected and improve your hits and visibility.

2. Connected User On-Off Line (Green or Red Circle): Once you have made a connection, your are able to see when the connected user is online or offline, represented by a green or red circle next to their image / avatar respectively.

3. Contact User (Envelope Icon): Contact users by clicking on the envelope icon to the bottom right of the image/avatar (sending a Private Messaging).

4. View a Connected Users Profile (Head Icon): by clicking on the head icon to the bottom left of the image / avatar.

5. Connection Pending (Timer Icon): A timer icon appears above the image / avatar if a connecting is pending and still needs to be approved.

6. Remove a Connection: by clicking on the red cross icon at the top of the image / avatar.

7. Add / Edit / Update My Profile

8. Add / Edit / Update My Image / Avatar

9. View your own profile by clicking on My Profile .
