The Marketing Society Scotland promotes marketing excellence across Scotland at all levels.  At their annual conference on 18th September, teams from three Scottish schools (Airdrie Academy, Greenwood Academy in Irvine and Kinross High School) will compete for the title of Marketing Apprentice 2008.

The participating school teams will respond to a brief provided by the Homecoming Scotland 2009 team and present their strategies and concepts to a panel of marketing experts at the conference.

Ewan Fairweather, a Marketing Manager for Homecoming Scotland 2009 said:

Participating in the Marketing Apprentice gives us a great opportunity of getting schools excited about Homecoming and we also hope that the pupils will give us some fresh insights into communicating the Homecoming message amongst their peers

The Marketing Apprentice session is being organised and run by Space Unlimited, a pioneering social enterprise which brings fresh thinking to businesses from our young bright minds.

The Conference is being held on 18th September at Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh with the Marketing Apprentice Session taking place between 9.30 and 11.00.  For more information about the conference, click here.
