In response to the urgency of the financial crisis we are hosting an event. You are cordially invited to "Scots In The City" Scottish business event on Thursday 20th November from 6pm to 9pm - the first in a series of events to mark the launch of Scotsin.com - the Scottish Business and People network.
In response to the urgency of the financial crisis we are hosting an event. You are cordially invited to "Scots In The City" Scottish business event on Thursday 20th November from 6pm to 9pm - the first in a series of events to mark the launch of Scotsin.com - the Scottish Business and People network. The event, sponsored by our key legal sponsors, pre-eminent Scottish law firm Maclay Murray and Spens LLP (www.mms.co.uk), is being hosted by MMS in their offices on the 12th floor of One London Wall, London, EC2Y 5AB. Come and join us for stunning views over London and a thought provoking talk by Dr. Brian Quinn CBE. Click here for directions. The speaker for the evening is Brian Quinn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Quinn), the former Deputy Governor of The Bank of England, former Chairman of Celtic Football Club, Honorary Professor of The University of Glasgow and current non-Executive Director of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority, Consultant to The World Bank, to name but a few. Brian, a truly dynamic Scot, who originally hails from Govan, will be giving us a 15 minute talk on the current financial crisis, as well as tagging on some more lighthearted comments on his passion for football. Complimentary drinks and nibbles will be served and there will be piping from The Pinstripe Highlanders and Scottish photographer Ian Macaulay will be our resident photographer capturing the spirit of the evening.
