The Saint Andrews Society of the State of New York is holding its 252nd Annual St Andrews Banquet at the newly refurbished Plaza Hotel with guest speaker Sir Tom Farmer, CBE, KCSG. It was once said, "Nothing unimportant ever happens at the Plaza".

Our honored speaker from "The Land O' Cakes" will be Sir Tom Farmer, CBE, KCSG. Tom is the founding Chancellor of Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and one of Scotland leading entrepreneurs. | | It was once said, "Nothing unimportant ever happens at the Plaza." The Plaza opened its doors on October 1, 1907 and was designated a New York City Landmark in 1969, The Plaza is listed on the Register of Historic Places and the only New York City hotel to be designated as a National Historic Landmark.
