Business networking concept Scotsin offer a wide range of business events, sector-specific and open events, run by Scotsin and third parties, to cater for your Scottish business networking and wider social-business networking needs. Networking is about meeting people, building awareness and trust and creating solid relationships over the short, medium and long-term. Scotsin can help. Scotsin provides a fantastic way to expand your network, both online and offline, by introducing you to a fast-growing network of great business people from a broad range of companies and organisations, with buying and selling power across a wide range of services and backgrounds, which will help you generate new business opportunities, potential leads, customers and greater awareness of your services and offerings. Business networking approach Scotsin connects Scots, Scottish businesses and organisations globally online. Offline Scotsin business networking events are currently only available in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, however we plan to set up events in New York, Sydney and around the world as soon as the appropriate business ambassadors and partners can be identified, timing and business environment permitting. Scotsin Business networking events bring together decision makers from a wide range of companies and organisations who wish to promote their businesses and expand their network of service providers. Attendance can be restricted, depending on the size of venue and event uptake. In the past, most of our events are sell-outs so you are encouraged to book early. Scotsin prides itself in creating fantastic business networking events with great people, great venues and a warm friendly atmosphere, conjusive to relaxed and reasonably informal business networking. Business networking breakfasts If you're pushed for time in your working day why not join us for a business breakfast and make your bacon and eggs generate positive new business leads! Business networking lunches Save time by killing two birds with the same stone and extend your business network over a light lunch. Scotsin business networking last two hours from 12 noon until 2pm with a pre-lunch reception with the opportunity to chat and mingle from 12 noon until 1pm, followed by a light lunch (either one main course, sandwich buffet or two light courses) with coffee from 1pm until 2pm. Over lunch, each person at your table will be given the opportunity to explain their company or service to others seated on table. This is a great way to break the ice and tell others about your organisation or services and to develop business relations with others so please be ready to wax lyrical for 1-2 minutes. We try our best to make sure that competitors are not seated on the same table and, at every lunch, we do our best to mix the tables up so that you are sitting with a different group of Scotsin members, however you may wish to be seated beside someone specific or sector or job specific so please let us know as much in advance as possible and we will do our best to accommodate. There is usually one main speaker at each lunch, usually a Scotsin member or invited guest, who has the opportunity to give a short talk or presentation. Please get in touch if you're interested in contributing as a speaker. Business networking suppers End your day in a relaxing way by attending one of our popular business suppers, either tailored to your industry sector or one of our open-supper nights where attendees come from a broad range of sectors and backgrounds. Business networking drinks Our most popular business events are our light-hearted business drinks reception evenings. Let Scotsin organise the party and just bring along an open mind and plenty of crisp business cards and some great chat and we'll provide you with great venues, potential clients and relaxed environment in which to enjoy. Business networking dinners Our business dinners are more formal than our business suppers and can take two distinct formats. These dinners can be focussed on a particular sector, company, individual or topic. Business speakers Scotsin has access to a wide range of fantastic speakers across a wide spectrum of business sectors. We bring you first-class professional speakers, mixed with interesting people who help make a difference, alongside individuals whom are highly regarded in their respective fields, or whom are on the verge of making an impact. Bespoke business events From time to time we run one off special events. Scotsin can tailor business events to your business, club, charity or individual needs. Awards dinners Join together for annual awards and celebrations to toast the achievers for the year gone by. These events can often be interlaced with a charity auction.
