9th June 2006: A message about Scottish World Cup Football Fever

www.scotsinlondon.com

Dear Scots in London (SIL) (3,000+ dynamic, passionate Scots and growing fast - the largest Scottish network organisation in London),

The 2006 World Cup is upon us. Unfortunately, "Scotland didnae qualify" but there's an exciting underdog team out there with strong connection to Scotland - Trinidad and Tobago - to support - alongside Enger-land! T and T are in England's group and have several players based in Scotland in their squad, the main one being aptly named Jason Scotland, their striker. Here are some World Cup ads, tunes and videos and Scottish football related links to keep you amused...and give you an excuse to cheer on Scotland, Scotland, - Jason Scotland and the Tartan Army's adopted team, Trinidad and Tobago - see section one below and see section two for Irn Bru ads. SIL wish England well but not well enough to replicate 1966! Enjoy and fingers crossed for Scotland to make it to the World Cup Finals in South Africa in 2010!
